As per our best practice, please be advised that as of today, November 8 2023, all WordPress × Lightspeed sites without custom plugins or themes have been upgraded to version 6.4. Accordingly, these are also now baselined at PHP 8.1. Self-managed customers are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version.
For Self-Managed customers, go to Dashboard → Updates and click Update Now. Please note that if you have custom themes or plugins that cannot be updated directly from the wordpress.org plugin store then there is a good chance this update will fail.
What’s inside 6.4
- The new default theme has been bumped from TwentyTwentyThree to TwentyTwentyFour
