For customers who are able to administer their own systems, Lightspeed provides a professional services in the form of implementation service of your choice of server OS:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux

• Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)

containing current versions of the following key subsystems.

• Cyrus IMAPD

• Sendmail/Postfix

• OpenLDAP

• Lightspeed Webmail (based on award winning IMP)

• SpamAssassin

• VirusBlade utilsing the Clam Anti-Virus Engine (ClamAV)
  

Subsystem upgrades are self-applied by the user from internet downloads. Any assistance required post implementation is fully chargeable and available either as maintenance or ad-hoc. This is a customised service for ENTERPRISE level implementation and differs substantially (and costs much more) than our shrink wrapped picoMail Classic product.  If you have less than 250 mail users, this service is likely not appropriate for your needs and you should look at picoMail instead.

Lightspeed email installations are fully qualified for the entire range of System X and System i servers by IBM.
